Guided by the philosophy that “Starting from the Summit”, Bosideng launches its first VERTEX Concept Store.

On November 8, 2025, Bosideng officially opened its first VERTEX concept store in China at MixC Shenyang. The opening ceremony was attended by Gao Dekang, founder of Bosideng and Chairman and President of the Group, alongside brand ambassador Yu Shi, “City Warmth” ambassador Ju Xiaowen, and Mu Zi, the first Chinese paraglider to traverse Mount Everest. Numerous distinguished guests from the fashion and technology sectors also gathered to witness the occasion. Centered on the theme “The Realm Without Shape”, the event employed immersive spatial storytelling and emotionally resonant narratives to reinterpret Bosideng’s enduring pursuit of the ultimate balance between technical performance and aesthetic refinement in down apparel. As a landmark project within Bosideng’s new-generation concept-store strategy, the Shenyang VERTEX store embodies the brand’s nearly five decades of technical expertise while signaling a new phase of systematic innovation, strengthening Bosideng’s voice and vision in the global down apparel industry.

Three Thematic Spaces Revealing the Technological Core of VERTEX

For the launch, Bosideng introduced a pioneering “spatial narrative” concept. Within MixC Shenyang, the brand constructed an immersive pop-up experience composed of three thematic environments—Transformation, Extreme Cold, and Puff—each translating Bosideng’s advanced technological philosophy into an experiential journey that visitors could see, feel, and emotionally engage with.

In the Transformation Space, a conceptual design film, combined with audiovisual interpretation and tactile interaction, illustrated Bosideng’s technological ambition, from ergonomic engineering to environmental adaptability. The interactive “one-pull transformation” experience transformed the abstract concept of breathable warmth into a tangible, verifiable sensation, reinforcing the brand’s technological credibility.

The Extreme Cold Space traced Bosideng’s long-standing authority in cold-weather innovation. Through narratives of polar exploration and a chronological display of insulation technologies, the exhibition charted the brand’s continuous advancements in extreme-cold performance since 1998, forming a clear technological lineage that underscores Bosideng’s pursuit of ultimate functionality.

In contrast, the Puff Space shifted the narrative from technical rationality to lifestyle aesthetics. Rather than emphasizing specifications, it presented the philosophy of “Warm Puff—Lightness at the Start,” demonstrating how Bosideng merges advanced engineering with lightweight comfort and urban style, transforming functional outerwear into a contemporary fashion expression.

Together, these three immersive environments articulated Bosideng’s broader vision for the VERTEX concept store: The quest for ultimate warmth is not merely the accumulation of technology. With VERTEX, Bosideng positions itself as a “lighthouse of innovation”, collaborating with leading global expertise to integrate high-performance technology with fashion aesthetics and illuminate the future direction of the industry.

Three Life Narratives Echoing the Spirit of VERTEX

In his opening remarks, Bosideng founder Gao Dekang framed the philosophical foundation of the project: VERTEX means the summit. Yet a summit is not a place of comfort; it is the starting point for new challenges. The opening of the VERTEX Shenyang concept store symbolizes Bosideng’s renewed journey, from one summit toward the next, embodying the brand’s enduring commitment of “Starting from the Summit”.

During the themed sharing session “Starting from the Summit”, brand ambassador Yu Shi, City Warmth ambassador Ju Xiaowen, and explorer Mu Zi each shared personal narratives of pursuing their own peaks. Their stories forged a powerful emotional connection between the spirit of ascent and the philosophy embodied by VERTEX products.

Yu Shi reflected on his creative journey: Although widely recognized as an actor, his passion for music has remained constant. This led him to venture beyond his established field, crossing from acting into singing and continually challenging himself in pursuit of new artistic summits. He noted that the VERTEX Transformation Series, with its modular three-in-one design, allows seamless adaptation across diverse environments and occasions. “The birth of VERTEX marks another technological evolution for Bosideng, and the beginning of a new journey.” ”

From a fashion perspective, Ju Xiaowen observed: “VERTEX transforms the idea of the ‘summit’ into the source code of fashion.” For her, winter style should provide not only warmth but also a sense of effortless lightness and contemporary attitude. At the event she wore a Bosideng Puff down jacket, whose combination of lightweight warmth and modern aesthetics enabled confidence and elegance in any setting.

Explorer Mu Zi offered validation from real extreme environments. At Everest’s 8,300-meter assault camp, where temperatures plunged to –30°C, Bosideng’s Extreme Cold Series, featuring GORE-TEX black-label fabric and high-loft goose down, created a stable microclimate system that supported his summit attempt. As he remarked: “Every gram of weight and every degree of warmth matters. The Extreme Cold series gave me the confidence to keep climbing.” ”

Bosideng positions VERTEX for discerning urban consumers seeking quality and versatility. A VERTEX down jacket delivers advanced all-time temperature-control performance, while allowing wearers to express individuality, whether navigating outdoor expeditions or urban commutes. At the heart of the lineup is the Transformation three-in-one shell down jacket, designed for multi-scenario use. Its versatility makes it particularly suited to cross-regional travel, demanding work schedules, fluctuating climates, and complex environments. Bosideng also announced that the VERTEX Transformation down jacket is the first in the world to employ elastic GORE-TEX fabric, offering enhanced protection against wind and rain.
